November was an incredibly busy month - settling in post-honeymoon, managing house renovations, finishing work, prepping for our sailing trip, hosting Thanksgiving - and I didn’t have as much time to read as I would have liked. With everything that was going on, I only found time for one book. Here’s what I read in November.

Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams

My Rating: ☆☆☆

My Take: I really wanted to like this book but I just couldn’t connect with the characters. The main character, Queenie, should have been an empathetic figure but I never fell in love with her the way I felt like I should have. Despite that, it was a good, if somewhat depressing, read.
